Ok so this is the one I'm currently unsure about. Things I definatly know are wrong:
1) The band round her elbow- too big.
2) The elbow on the opposite arm- went a bit wonky after enthusicastic penning.
3) Legs. I'm still working on 'em.
4) Proportion- hair makes the head look too big. Downsize on hair next time.

Otherwise I'm pretty happy with it. I'm especially pleased with the boots which i did off the top of my head (except the split idea with the socks on the inside. I yoinked that from the Spellforce girl. But I didn't copy, I just liked how that was done and drew it as I remembered it.)

I need critism for this one, cos I know that I'm a newb at the human form. I just like attempting stuff and this has to be my first female body with minimum amount of clothing.

Strange how I can't draw men, apart from Kitsu, the topless cat-man with strange hand positions.

Men are harder than women, I find that. Nice! I like the fact she's not facing us, it kind of leaves her face to the imagination.

Couple of pointers - firstly, the ears - I don't know what you want from them but they look like they're just sort of stuck on. Perhaps a little more shading? Also if she's a fox perhaps they should be smaller and have more rounded tone.
Secondly, I think everything you don't like about it is fine! lol, but that's just me, I'm hopeless at people. The only thing I would say is that the bum doesn't look right. I like the curvy shading under the cheeks but for some reason (don't ask me why lol) it looks like her pants don't fit.

That is soooo much better than my pathetic attempts.

Yeah, fox was just the closest I could get. She wasn't supposed to be foxy really it just...happened that way. I need to work on ear shapes a little. I can do front wise fine...now for the back...
And I agree, the bum/pants bit is off... Not sure how I'd alter it though. Maybe the cheeks need to be higher up and more covered by the pants.
As to you not being a human drawer- no you never really were. You can, however whip me into hell with just about everything else. So don't start feeling down. You were always the better artist.

Back is a lot harder than front. It's all about shading. Plus most photos you get only show ears from the front, so you'll have a job finding a ref for the back of a fox' ear.
lol humans are hard. They don't have enough legs...I can't even begin to draw cartoons as well as you either, so I think we're even. :)

Cartooning is simply seeing the shape of the normal object and playing around with it a little. Perhaps it's a way of thinking...

Yup! A way of thinking which is simple for some people but difficult for others, unfortunately. I think it takes a great deal of skill, which I don't have.

Just as being able to see a form without using an outline takes skill. One thing I've always wanted to do is draw a picture without a defining outline but I've tried and I just can't...

:iconlongwing:
what do you mean by defining outline?

Take a look at Foxy girl up there. There's a definate line all the way around her. That's a defining outline.

God bless Kitsu...

Mm, the greyscale shading is super, it's in all the right places. The suggestion they give is great, and that's what we're looking for here.

I don't personally think the hair makes the head look big - it just looks like she's got big hair (My own hair's nearly that long, and when it's out, I look like something from Noggin The Nog. It's a strange feeling).

I'll agree that the elbow is a little off... Inking is hard work, that's why I never do it. :P Go slow but be confident; never stop in the middle of a line. I think that's the trick, it certainly works with calligraphy.

...The elbow happened because I sneezed ¬.¬...I'm lucky the line didn't extend off the page...
